Spanish Group about "Think before you post"

Aktualisiert: 22. Aug. 2021

Interview of Ana Francisca Gomez from Spain after the Training Course "Think before you post" in Yerevan

What is the most important thing you have learned during the training “Think before you post" ? How do you plan to share and use your knowledge?

I was so surprised to hear in on of the project sessions that even if you tick "not to share your personal information", they still use your data and sell it to the third parties! I hope we will make something about it in the future! And I will share all the thing I got to know with the young people in my country and city, and with everyone I meet! We should be more careful everywhere, especially in social media whuch tracks your microphone, camera, words etc.!:)

Do you have your own tips for creating a positive digital footprint?

I think all the people share only important, positive and inspiring things. I don't understand when people spread hatred. I understand opening discussion for some changes and polite debates on them but not mean and offensive words. Please, be respectful to each other both in the internet and in real life.

How could your social media usage and digital footprint affect the recruitment process for you? Did you consider during this training week to edit some of your social media accounts?

Not careful social media usage can affect hiring for those who have different viewpoints comparing to their employers. And that might happen to everybody. I had such a situation when my political views were not the same than my posible boss had. And that's why I just didn't mention mine in social media, took a job and avoided firing.

I also deleted a couple of likes during the training week and feel more safe now!:)
