Russian Group about "NEET to work"

Interview of Andrei Mezrin from Russian Federation after the Training Course "NEET to work" in Yerevan

Can you give us your opinion about the project "NEET to Work"?

For me the project "NEET to work" was totally fruitful and valuable. This is the best place to share your ideas about NEET issues and explore it more deeply. I got a lot of practice and new skills. Each day was unique and extraordinary. Also it is important to highlight activities during the project, which were productive, useful and creative.

According to you, what support works best for young people at risk of becoming NEET?

The best support is to develop step-by-step activities from bottom to top. It works best for young people at risk of becoming NEET. It's important to build communities and

organizations consistently because many youngsters are shy and don't have open minded traits. If we'll do it, we can achieve high results (one of the crucial results which we can achieve at the end).

What is the most important thing you have learned during the training? How do you plan to share and use your knowledge?

There are some important things which I learned during the project. The first one is never give up and do as soon as you can. Never quite what you've started. The second one is SMART and GROW techniques, which we can implement to simplify a brainstorming process. And the last but not least point is how to manage people. I've learned a lot of practices and activities how to brake barriers between people, how to become more confident and open-minded. That's really worth it.
