Russian Group about "NEET to work"

Interview of Mikhail Zakharov from Russian Federation after the Training Course "NEET to work" in Yerevan

Can you give us your opinion about the project "NEET to Work"?

The project “NEET to work” was perfect in many ways - from the unique ambiance of freedom to the experience given by lecturers and organisers. Both empirically and the oretically, I got much information I’m still digesting - nevertheless, I have no doubts, I’ll definitely use the new skills in the near future.

According to you, what support works best for young people at risk of becoming NEET?

Speaking about the form of support works best for young people at risk of becoming NEET, I can’t help mentioning the necessity of spreading and making available different forms of informal education. In our complicated time traditional forms of education are often impotent - and only the new informal tools will help the youth to adjust to numerous challenges of today.

What is the most important thing you have learned during the training? How do you plan to share and use your knowledge?

The most important part, as I consider it, was the lecture about making CVs and resumes. The details, obtained during it, would help me to boost my CV and to become more competitive on labour market. I do see this lecture the most fruitful one - and it makes me do its summary and to present it to colleagues from the NGO, I currently work as the Head of Networking for.
