Youth in Action:
Fostering Peacebuilding, Conflict Resolution and Employability Skills

Description: This nine-day training course aims to empower participants with essential knowledge and skills that cater to contemporary socio-political and economic challenges faced by young people in Europe and its neighboring regions. The training will focus on:

  1. Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution: Considering the recent socio-political changes and conflicts that have occurred in various parts of Europe and its neighboring regions (e.g. Armenia, Ukraine), it is critical to equip participants with peacebuilding and conflict resolution skills. Participants will learn strategies to promote understanding, empathy, and reconciliation among diverse groups. By empowering young people to become active contributors to peace processes, youth workers can help foster more peaceful, tolerant, and inclusive societie.

  2. Employability Skills and Career Development: Youth unemployment is a pressing issue that affects many regions, necessitating an increased focus on employability and career development. Participants will be equipped with practical strategies and tools to support young people in enhancing their employability. The training will cover areas such as CV writing, job interview techniques, career counselling, and the development of entrepreneurial skills. The goal is to empower young people to explore a range of career pathways, improve their employability, and stimulate job creation.

  3. Cross-Cultural Exchange and Networking: To promote a sense of shared understanding and unity among diverse countries, the course will also focus on cross-cultural exchange and networking. This fosters a sense of unity, shared understanding, and collaborative problem-solving among youth workers from different countries.
